Most of us know, life is too short. Yet are we enjoying it and having fun?!
There is nothing wrong with being a dedicated, mature, professional and responsible adult, but acting like a kid sometimes too! What I mean by that is, getting outside and jumping in a pile of freshly raked leaves. Hula hooping, jump roping, climbing a tree, blowing bubbles <— ultimate favorite of mine!
Sometimes even just lying in the grass on a beautiful day to watch the clouds change is amazing. For those that know me, I am a big lover of clouds, so this is also right up my alley any day when the sky has a plethora of clouds. Let’s also not forget snow angels, flying a kite, or building a sandcastle. No need to be afraid of getting dirty and rolling around in the grass either. It adds to the excitement! Whatever your remarkable heart desires, go out and do it!
Although we are all getting older, this in no way means we can’t go out and enjoy these simple things in life. It also doesn’t mean you are immature in any way. What you choose to do to have fun, and be silly living in the moment is your prerogative. I feel that’s one of the best ways to live your life. Whatever you’re feeling at the time… be free!
Who cares what anyone else thinks if they are a bystander. It’s not their life, it’s yours. Who wants to look back over the years and realize how boring their life was? Seeing they refrained from having fun all because of what others would think?
Yes, uptight people that don’t know how to fully live will in fact form an opinion of you. They will also give you puzzled looks. Perhaps they’ll even make an insulting comment towards you. Those people are not open-minded to understand much that is not within their spectra of beliefs or values. Perhaps they do not know what life is like outside of their bubble and close-mindedness. They will judge every little thing you do, and try with all their power to take the fun out of your life. Some of these people are also known as Energy Vampires.
An Energy Vampire is someone that is jealous, insecure, and dramatic. A complainer, accuser and someone that enjoys sucking the life out of you. They cannot stand to see others happy and full of life. They cannot fathom how to live that way because they won’t let go and be free. Do not, under any circumstance, allow these types of people rain to on your parade!
So get out there, and go do a giant cannonball in the pool! Maybe near a group lounging by the pool with cocktails or afternoon lunch <grinning>.
